Daniel Wilson AddoSenior Partner

Daniel is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) with over 28 years of post-qualification experience. He trained with KPMG, an international audit firm covering statutory audits, financial and management accounting, and corporate banking. He is a  former member of the Technical and Research Committee on the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and also served as a member of the Institute’s Task Force on Convergence to International Financial Reporting Standards. He holds an MBA (Finance) from the Manchester Business School (UK) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana.

Daniel has held many managerial roles in his career currently as the Managing Director and CEO of Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd. (CBG). He was also the Deputy Director of UBA Ghana, Managing Director of UBA Tanzania and Executive Director of First Atlantic Bank Limited.

Daniel also has extensive banking experience having worked in several roles in Standard Chartered Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) and First Atlantic Bank Limited. Daniel is a turnaround expert, having at different times during his career, been involved in transforming two banks and starting two others. He is a Non-Executive Director of Hollard Ghana Holdings and Mobus Properties Limited and a council member of the National Banking College. He also sits on the Global Advisory Council of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.

Paul KumiManaging Partner

Paul has been the Managing Partner of J. A. Abrahams & Co. for 6 years now. He is a practicing-chartered accountant and a chartered tax practitioner with over 20 years of experience in accounting, business strategy, planning, governance, tax consulting, risk management and auditing. He is a fellow of ICA. He holds an EMBA Degree in Banking & Finance from the Paris Graduate School of Management, France and a BA of Political Science from the University of Ghana. He has also received professional certification from the Institute of Directors.

Paul worked for over 7 years at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Ltd. initially as an Operations Assistant (Local clearing – Technology and Operations), subsequently promoted to Business Partner, Support Functions. Later in that same year, he became the Assistant Manager, Financial Controls and later Head of Business Finance (Wholesale Banking). His final position was as Financial Controller, where he provided oversight on strategy and budget monitoring, financial accounting, taxation, and embedding robust financial controls.

He has also worked in Cirrus Oil Services Ltd. as the company’s financial controller and General Manager – finance where he ensured that all matters relating to financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, capital structure management, market risk analysis and management and regulatory reporting are applied accordingly.

At AllTime Finance Limited, Paul was employed as their Chief Financing Officer and later promoted to Chief Operating Officer to oversee the entire finance, operations and IT units of the company.

At J. A. Abrahams and Co., Paul has led several projects as the managing partner, including conducting DPAT assessments for the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, forensic audit of Best Link Global Ghana Limited, special audits for Tema Tank Farm Limited ( a bulk oil storage company and subsidiary of CH Group), Pacific Oil Ghana and Bora Capital Advisors Ltd.

Paul has also led statutory audit engagements to Benewise Ghana Ltd. (operator in the extractives industry), Crystal Capital and Investment Ltd., Electro Recycling Company Limited, Forestry Impex Limited Company , IKK Services Ltd, Integriti Media,   Lynch Medical Services Limited, New Modern World Company Limited, Scanvision Investment Limited Company, Tsebo Ghana Limited, Margins Pronto and Union Capital (a member of Jospong group).

He has managed tax engagements with clients such as Allterrain Services (ATS), Precious Mineral Marketing Company (PMMC) Limited, Tel Energy, and Superior Oil Limited Company.
